The Boathouse is Closed for the Season
See You in Spring.

Welcome

Amoskeag Rowing Club (ARC) was founded in 1982 to promote rowing on the Merrimack River in central New Hampshire. ARC's boathouse is located in the Town of Hooksett (mid-way between Manchester and Concord) on a beautiful five mile stretch of the river. The club maintains a core membership of individuals and supports satellite programs at several local schools. These include Bedford High School Crew, Manchester Central High School Crew, The Derryfield School Crew and Southern New Hampshire University Crew. ARC also sponsors the ever-more-popular New Hampshire Championships Regatta every year in October.

We welcome experienced and aspiring rowers of all experience levels and abilities.

If you're a rower from elsewhere looking for a home, ARC would be pleased to have you as a member. If you have your own equipment, we provide rack space (inside or out as available). We also maintain a high-quality fleet of boats and oars for use by qualified members.

If you haven't rowed before or you just need a refresher before getting started, come join us on the water for the Masters or Junior Learn To Row Programs. We also offer a Sculling Camp and a Fall Competitive Sculling Program for Juniors. Rowing is a delightful sport that you can make uniquely your own. You can row a stable recreational boat for low-impact exercise and stress release or you can go all out in a racing shell. You can row a single by yourself in quiet solitude or join other members in a 2, 4 or 8 person boat. But to do any of these things you have to get started. Special discounts are available to Hooksett and Pembroke residents. The Town of Hooksett administers a club-funded learn-to-row scholarship program for Hooksett residents. Reduced rate, rest-of-season memberships are available to program graduates. Contact us today!

ARC is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, volunteer supported organization.
