DHHS Mosquito-Borne Disease Warning
The State of New Hampshire DHHS periodically issues mosquito-borne disease warnings. ARC members should take note. The ARC boathouse is in a low-lying area adjacent to marshes that are mosquito breeding areas. Mosquitoes are prevalent on the river as well. The warning includes a number of precautions that can be taken against mosquito-borne diseases.
