Membership

Membership in the Amoskeag Rowing Club is available at several different levels. Every individual participating in ARC rowing activities must become a member either through our summer programs, our affiliated satellite youth teams or as a full club member.

Summer Membership

Summer memberships are available to those wishing to participate in one of our summer Learn to Row or Competitive Team programs. The term of the membership is for the length of the program only and no other membership privileges or responsibilities are conferred. The fee includes membership dues and all costs of participating in the program. See the Summer Programs page for detailed information on each program.

Satellite Youth Teams

Programs are currently running for students attending Manchester Central High School, Concord High School, The Derryfield School and Southern New Hampshire University. For more information on these programs use the above links or under Satellite Youth Teams. Joining a Satellite Youth Team allows participants to use ARC facilities for supervised team activities during the fall and spring team seasons only. No other membership privileges are conferred.

Full Membership

Full ARC members enjoy full club privileges, but have added responsibilities as well. Full membership benefits include the use of club owned equipment, private boat storage when space is available for a nominal fee, voting and guest privileges, coaching and other activities as available and discounted fees for summer tuition programs. Responsibilities include year round participation on a committee or other work assignment, attending two morning work parties per year and working a full day at our annual New Hampshire Championships Regatta. Full membership is available to both individuals and families and is for a calendar year beginning March 1 and ending February 28. Apply for membership by submitting an application, liability waiver and dues payment to the membership director.
